Congratulations to Alex Paisley from Shrine Catholic High School's Class of 2025 on being named a 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholar—one of the nation’s highest academic honors. Paisley is also a National Merit Scholar and earned a perfect ACT score.
Each year, one young man and one young woman are selected from each state for this prestigious award. Established in 1964, the program has honored approximately 8,600 of the nation’s top-performing students.
U.S. Presidential Scholars are invited to name their most influential teacher. Paisley selected Shrine's Mrs. Amy Smith who will receive a personal letter from the U.S. Secretary of Education.
