Shrine Catholic High School seeks qualified candidates for the position of Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for the Fall 2023 season. 

Salary and Benefits commensurate with an Applicant's Experience.

Qualifications/Requirements
Candidates with head coaching experience or Assistant Coaching (5+ years) with a progression of increased responsibilities PREFERRED.

The Ideal Candidate Should:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree

• Have in-depth knowledge of the game, contest rules and MHSAA regulations.

• Be experienced and proficient in teaching and developing volleyball skills and fundamentals.

• Possess strong communication, leadership, motivational and team-building skills across the breadth of the Shrine Community.

• Be a model of sportsmanship and ethical conduct in representing Shrine Catholic High School.

• Coordinate summer camps and off-season workouts. (Experience a Plus)

• Have strong communication and supervisory skills.

• Motivated to build the Volleyball Program at Shrine Catholic Schools.

• Support the growth of the student athletes in virtue, discipleship and living the faith.

The applicant should have all of the following requirements or be willing to complete them: MHSAA CAP Certification; current CPR certification; and Protecting God's Children certification.

Position Description
Shrine Catholic High School and Academy is seeking Substitute Teachers who have the opportunity to relieve full school days or partial days in the current 21-22 school year.   
Shrine Catholic High School and Academy is an accredited college preparatory high school and junior high, and serves a coed population of over 463 students.  It is located at 3500 W. Thirteen Mile Rd. in Royal Oak, Michigan, at the intersection of 13 Mile and Woodward Ave.

The position may include the following responsibilities and skills:

Shrine Catholic High School and Academy is seeking responsible educators/substitutes looking to provide instruction and manage the classroom environment.  The teacher would interact professionally with students, teachers, and possibly parents.  They will maintain our school decorum and work to maximize learning while following an organized substitute plan, and be responsible for the attendance records of the students.  

Qualifications/Requirements
•    Valid or ensuing collegiate degree.
•    Must meet all requirements established by the Archdiocese of Detroit for employment.
•    Must have a record of fingerprinting on file.
•    Must have completed or be willing to complete Protecting God’s Children training.
•    Prior school employment experience preferred.
